The Disaster Commission

After a British Viking and a Soviet Yak-3 aircraft collided on 5 April, a British-Soviet delegation was set up in order to inquire the cause of the disaster which had resulted in 15 fatalities. Air Commodore Rex N. Waite was the leader of the British delegation. After the Soviet side refuses to hear German witnesses, Waite concludes his activities in the joint delegation. As a result, both sides blame each other for the tragedy.
